Shropshire has many glorious gardens, many of which are not accessible to the public.  However, with the kind consent of the owner, the Trust is able to offer a wide and varied programme of garden openings from early spring until September.  Several villages organise garden trails, which include several gardens of differing styles and size, and these have proved to be very popular.
Everyone is welcome, and we hope many will take advantage of the opportunities within the programme to spend an enjoyable afternoon visiting the gardens whilst, at the same time, helping local churches and chapels to meet the ever-increasing cost of repairing and maintaining their beautiful buildings.
To add to your enjoyment you will generally find afternoon tea and cakes available and often there will be plants for sale somewhere along the way.
All funds raised are divided between the Trust and the church or chapel nominated by the garden owner.
